Dr. Amy adjusting a young girlWelcome to Inver Grove Chiropractic! Our practice has a family-oriented atmosphere complete with music playing and our lovable Golden Retriever Cooper roaming around. You’re also likely to see Dr. Ross and Dr. Amy’s young son. As Inver Grove Heights is a small community, you’ll also probably run into someone you know. Our patients enjoy catching up with each other while they progress on the path to optimal health.

In our relaxed and yet fast-paced environment, our goal is to get you in and out as quickly as possible so you can get back to your busy day.

The First Visit

The intake paperwork can be downloaded from our website and brought in with you completed. You’ll start by getting a tour of the office so you can see all of the different services we provide. Next, you’ll meet with one of our three doctors and go through a history and examination. You may be screened for functional movement in the fitness center.

If your chiropractor determines that you need X-rays, we can take them here. You may or may not receive your first chiropractic adjustment at this visit. We’ll then begin preparing your report of findings.

Please allow about 45 minutes for this initial appointment.

The Second Visit

Upon your return, your chiropractor will walk you through your X-rays and exam findings. We make sure you’re always informed about what we found and how we plan to help you. You’ll then get our recommendations for care.

This appointment takes 30-45 minutes.

Regular Visits

Your regular appointments, which typically take 20-25 minutes, will usually consist of a chiropractic adjustment and any therapies. If we determine that you need to do exercises or stretches, we will have you perform those in the fitness center.

The Value of Maintenance Care

While it’s always your choice as to how long you want to continue care after your issue’s been resolved, many of our patients come in for maintenance care. They want to make sure that everything’s moving well so they can help prevent major flare-ups in the future.

Just like exercising and eating healthy on a regular basis can go a long way toward achieving optimal health, chiropractic maintenance care is essential too.

Patient Education

Helping patients stay informed about chiropractic and health, in general, is a big part of what we do. We feature handouts and articles of the week, do table talks and host dinners with the doc. We also love sharing on social media.
